White Paper
Because of nylon’s versatility, it is one of the most widely used engineering thermoplastics, featuring a good balance of stiffness, strength, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance to hydrocarbons. However, warping of finished parts are a common issue due to the highly crystalline nature of Nylon 6.
Objectives
This paper is intended to help the engineering design community identify potential warp issues and select compounds that will minimize warpage.
